BCC Attorney Alfredo Estrada successfully litigated, against the Office of Chief Counsel, and obtained an Order reopening and vacating a client’s thirteen (13) year old final order of removal. Estrada was able to demonstrate that the one year time limitation should be waived because of extraordinary circumstances as articulated under INA 240(c)(7)(C)(iv)(III). Estrada is now in the process of defending the case in chief concerning his client’s removability.
