About Kallee M. Sears

Kallee Sears is a member of the firm’s business practice group, providing representation for both individuals and businesses in a wide variety of areas.

Kallee has always called Northwest Indiana home; she grew up in Shelby, Indiana and graduated from Lowell High School. Kallee attended Indiana University Bloomington, earning her undergraduate degree in Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management. During her undergraduate studies, Kallee served as a research assistant, studying the legal aspects of recreation, ADA compliance in airports, and eventually presenting on the legal risks of serving alcohol at college sporting events at the Annual Sports and Recreation Law Conference in 2020.

Kallee went on to receive her law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law, where she earned the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence in Legal Research and Writing and externed for an Iowa Supreme Court justice. Kallee also served as a tutor at Iowa Law’s writing and academic research center, where she mentored fellow law students on the ins and outs of legal writing.

Kallee currently lives in Merrillville, Indiana with her husband and beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Rosie.
