Julia A. Barley

Julia A. Barley is an Associate Attorney at Burke Costanza & Carberry LLP in Merrillville, Indiana. She is a member of the firm’s Business and Litigation Practice Groups, representing individuals and businesses throughout Northwest Indiana.

Julia was born and raised in Crown Point, Indiana, and graduated from Crown Point High School in 2019. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a minor in Economics, from Indiana University in 2021, graduating with highest distinction. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2025.

During law school, Julia served as Executive Symposium Live Editor for the Indiana International and Comparative Law Review and was named to the Order of the Barristers in the Robert H. Staton Moot Court Competition. She was a regional finalist in the 2025 ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition and a member of the 2025 William C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.

As a native Hoosier and lifelong resident of Northwest Indiana, she is passionate about serving her community. Outside of her legal practice, she is actively involved in her local church, where she and her husband serve as Youth Leaders, and Julia leads the Creative Team.
