Carol F. Colomba

Carolina F. Colomba (“Carol”) is an Associate Attorney at Burke Costanza & Carberry LLP in Merrillville, Indiana, where she practices in the firm’s litigation and business law groups, representing individuals and businesses throughout Northwest Indiana.

Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Carol earned her first law degree from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado in 2022 and was subsequently admitted to practice by the Brazilian Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil – OAB/SP), where she worked on a wide range of matters, with a particular focus on Chapter 11 and family law. She later relocated to the United States to further her legal education, earning her Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2024 and her Master of Comparative Law (M.C.L.) in 2025. She was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 2025.

During her time at Indiana University, Carol served as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council and as a representative on the Student Bar Association. She also worked with Indiana University Student Legal Services, where she provided legal assistance to students in a variety of matters.

Carol lives in Chesterton, Indiana with her fiancé and their puppy, Reggie, and is excited to serve the Northwest Indiana community.
