Insurance Defense Litigation Lawyers

Our Litigation Practice Group has an extensive background and concentration in the insurance defense field with representation of national and local insurance companies and their respective insureds. BCC offers competent, professional legal services which are necessary to cope with the demands of a litigation practice.   BCC routinely handles first and third-party claims against insurance companies.  BCC represents both casualty and professional liability insurance companies and has worked directly with insurance companies and/or third-party administrators.

Representation of clients in the field of insurance defense has allowed attorneys to perform all aspects of legal work for many diverse businesses and individuals, including product manufacturers, trucking companies, utility companies, cable companies, shopping centers, construction companies, security agencies, restaurants and homeowners.  Many of the cases BCC handles in the insurance litigation arena also include claims relating to defense and indemnity obligations.

Our insurance defense attorneys handle claims at all stages of litigation, including, pre-suit, alternative dispute resolution, trial, post-trial and appeals in both State and Federal Courts.  In the firm’s representation of insurance companies, attorneys have continually been confronted with complex, yet sometimes novel legal issues associated with coverage questions.  We have represented insurance companies in a wide variety of litigation including, but not limited to, declaratory judgment actions, interpleader actions and coverage matters.  Representation of insureds has included premise claims, personal injury, property damage, death, commercial litigation and professional liability claims.

In addition to handling insurance defense claims, members of BCC’s Litigation Practice Group are routinely selected to serve as Mediators and Arbitrators to preside over various insurance and other litigation claims.

BCC strives and is committed to meet and fulfill the legal needs and obligations of both insurance companies and insureds in all phases of case management.  As a result, BCC is dedicated in understanding both the substantive law of their practice and the procedural process associated with their practice.
