Christian W. Bartholomew

Christian was an associate at BCC since 2017 and is a member of the firm’s Business and Personal Services Practice Group, providing representation in a wide variety of business, municipal, real estate, and probate-related matters. He comes to Burke Costanza & Carberry after more than seven years of experience as a general practice attorney at another Lake County, Indiana law firm. 

Christian is a native of Marion, Indiana and a 1999 graduate of Oak Hill High School in Converse, Indiana. After completing his undergraduate studies at Ball State University, he attended law school at Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana, where he was an active participant in the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition, finishing as a Quarterfinalist and serving on the moot court board. He also served as an Articles Editor for the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies.

Christian has long been a travel enthusiast, completing his first legal internship with a small law firm in Accra, Ghana. He was his law school’s first American participant in a semester exchange program with the Friedrich-Schiller University in Jena, Germany and has also lived and studied in Regensburg and Dresden, Germany, Prague, and Senegal. Additionally, he maintains a significant interest in the arts and is an active member of the Southlake Artists Co-op.

He presently resides in downtown Crown Point, Indiana.
