Uniform Development Codes
Todd A. Etzler - 7/27/2009
Todd Etzler recently presented to Indiana land use attorneys at the ICLEF Masters Series Convention at French Lick, Indiana. He presented Uniform Development Codes--the combination by government units of multiple ordinances into a cohesive code. ICLEF describes the Master Series:
The ICLEF Master's Series is a group of advanced-level seminars, known collectively as
The Master's Series, for those practitioners who require a distinct level of
continuing legal education in their respective fields. Trademarks of The Master's
Series include a low faculty-to-attendee ratio, seating arrangements that facilitate
interaction, and topics designed to make you think, while providing you with
answers to the tough questions and difficult situations you may encounter in
your practice.
Todd presented with panel members Craig Phillips, City of Valparaiso Planner, and Todd Messenger, Associate in Charge of the Colorado office of Kendig Keast. By design, the attendance was limited but well attended. Attorneys representing Indiana governmental units, private developers, and occasional remonstrators attended the two-day seminar.
