Biography
Kevin is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Services Practice Group, and is resident in the firm’s Valparaiso office. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame where he was an Honors Scholar. Mr. Steele received his law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law where he was a member of the Adelphia law journal.
Mr. Steele is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Indiana and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also admitted to the Trial Bar of the Northern District of Illinois. In addition to Construction Law and Commercial Litigation, Kevin practices in foreclosure and real estate disputes. He has represented clients before the Indiana Tax Court. He has lectured in the areas of construction law and real estate liens and the litigation of those claims. Mr. Steele also belongs to the American Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association (Construction Law Section), the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana (Business Litigation and Construction Law), the Porter County Bar Association and the Lake County Bar Association. Mr. Steele is also a member of the Calumet American Inn of Court.
