Mr. Costas received his B.A from St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana, and his law degree with high distinction from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1989. He specializes in the field of Elder Law, having obtained his certification in elder law from the National Elder Law Foundation. Mr. Costas has over twenty years of experience in Medicaid Law and Asset Protection.
Mr. Costas has served as Mayor of Valparaiso since 2004 and is also a small business owner. He is an active community leader having served on numerous state and local boards and committees.
Jon Costas enjoys a variety of activities including running, biking, reading, guitar, singing, speaking and competing in triathlons. Jon and his wife Sharon live on Valparaiso’s north side.
