Dana Rifai is an associate of Burke Costanza & Carberry LLP’s office, and is a member of the firm’s Business Practice Group. Dana’s well-rounded practice abilities provide her clients thorough legal counsel. In her business transactional work, Dana assists in forming the best organizational structure for her client’s business model. She also assists her client’s in the development and growth of their business, their restructuring needs, or the purchase of a new business. Dana enjoys tailoring an estate plan to each of her client’s plans and wishes. She works on inheritance and death tax planning within her estate plans, as well, to ensure the utmost benefit for her client’s loved ones. In probate practice, Dana works on opening estates, guardianships, and completing inheritance tax returns. She further assists her clients in the effective distribution of the estate assets. Dana also works extensively on business and personal real estate matters. She initiated the firm’s immigration practice and has been successful in assisting with numerous visa and citizenship applications. Dana also provides family law services.
Dana was born in Chicago and grew up in Valparaiso, Indiana. She takes pleasure in being an active member of her community. Dana’s professional affiliations include the membership in the Lake County, Indiana State and American Bar Associations as well as the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Dana currently serves on Avicenna Academy’s board of directors and is a member of the Muslim Alliance of Indiana.
