He is also a member of the Federation of Insurance and Corporate Counsel, and the Defense Research Institute. Besides serving on the faculty of numerous continuing education programs in litigation related topics, Mr. Parker was awarded First Place in the inaugural Harrison Legal Writing Contest sponsored by the Indiana State Bar Association in 1997, and received the Defense Research Institute's "Exceptional Performance Award" in 2003. In 2005, 2006, and 2008, Bob received the prestigious "Superlawyer" designation by Indianapolis Monthly magazine, based on a statewide poll of lawyers, becoming one of only a handful of Northwest Indiana attorneys so designated in the practice area of civil litigation predominantly on behalf of businesses and professionals. Bob is resident in the firm's Merrillville office, and his practice is concentrated in commercial and professional liability litigation, and products liability. In his spare time, Bob officiates high school football, and is now looking forward to his 30th season on the gridiron.
