Jason M. Smith was born in Kokomo, Indiana. He received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University - Indianapolis and his law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. He is currently completing his Master of Laws in Taxation at the Chicago Kent College of Law. He is a member of the Indiana State bar association, the Porter County Bar Association and the Lake County Bar Association. Jason acted as a loaned executive for the United Way of Porter County in 2006 and participated in the Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce Leadership Academy in 2007. Jason focuses his practice in estate planning, corporate and business law, and federal and state tax controversy and planning.
