George W. Carberry was born in Chicago, Illinois. He was educated at the University of Notre Dame and the Valparaiso University School of Law, where he served as editor in chief of the the Law Review. He is a former law clerk to the Honorable Robert H. Staton of the Court of Appeals of Indiana. Mr. Carberry's primary areas of practice are business law, health care law with emphasis on representation of physicians and physician practice groups, and trust and estate planning. He is a member of the Indiana State and American Bar Associations and the American Health Lawyers Association. Mr. Carberry serves on the Board of Directors of United Way of Porter County, the Board of Directors of the YMCA Foundation of Valparaiso, and he is a member and past president of the Valparaiso Rotary Club. Mr. Carberry was named Outstanding Professional Advisor for 2009 by the Porter County Community Foundation
