Ann Marie is a native of Northwest Indiana and a graduate of Merrillville High School. She attended Indiana University in Bloomington where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of the Arts in Journalism. At the Valparaiso University School of Law she was a Honors Division full-tuition scholarship recipient, associate editor for the Law Review, and teaching assistant for the Honors legal writing program.

Prior to joining the firm, Ann Marie clerked for Judge Michael P. Barnes on the Indiana Court of Appeals. Ann Marie is an associate in the firm’s Business and Personal Services Group in the Merrillville office.  She advises clients in business, real estate, and estate planning matters.  Ann Marie represents a number of small and medium-sized businesses located in Northwest Indiana.  She is admitted to practice in Indiana, in the United States District Court for the Northern Districts of Indiana and Illinois, and in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. 

Ann Marie’s professional affiliations include membership in the Indiana and Lake County Bar Associations.  She is the 2012 Chair of the Young Lawyers Section of the Lake County Bar.  She is a founding member and executive board member of Emerge South Shore, a Northwest Indiana young professionals group and initiative of The Legacy Foundation, Lake County’s Community Foundation.  She also serves on the Grants Committee of the Legacy Foundation.  Ann Marie is active in the Crown Point and Winfield communities through involvement with the Winfield Chamber of Commerce and the Crossroads Chamber of Commerce.
